Is NEET or KCET mandatory for B.Pharm and D.Pharm admissions? +

No, NEET or KCET is NOT required for admission to B.Pharm or D.Pharm at Vivekananda College of Pharmacy. Admissions are conducted directly based on your Class 12 / 10+2 marks in Science (PCB or PCM). Candidates can secure direct admission through college merit counseling.

What are the statutory approvals and affiliations of the college? +

Vivekananda College of Pharmacy is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and permanently affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. It is also approved by the Government of Karnataka and Board of Examining Authority.

What is the annual fee structure for pharmacy courses? +

Our fee structure is completely transparent: B.Pharm is ₹70,000 per year (4-year degree), and D.Pharm is ₹80,000 total for the complete 2-year diploma program. Installment payment plans and state scholarship assistance (SSP/NSP) are available for eligible students.

Can D.Pharm diploma holders upgrade to B.Pharm? +

Yes! D.Pharm pass-outs are eligible for Lateral Entry directly into the 2nd Year (3rd Semester) of the 4-year B.Pharm course under RGUHS regulations. This allows diploma holders to earn their Bachelor's degree in just 3 additional years.

Are hostel and transport facilities provided? +

Yes, we provide separate secured hostel accommodation for boys and girls with 24/7 warden supervision, high-speed Wi-Fi, clean dining mess, and solar water heating. Regular college bus routes connect the campus across Bangalore from Majestic, Whitefield, Electronic City, and Silk Board.
